Privacy policy
Short version: the contact forms collect only what you type into them (name, email or WhatsApp, and your message), nothing else is collected from you directly, uses Google Analytics to count visits, and never sells or shares anything with anyone.
Who publishes this site
UAE Exits is published by Coello Advisory, based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It is an educational resource for UAE business owners considering a sale.
What is collected automatically
This site uses Google Analytics 4 to understand how many people visit and which pages they read. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser and collects standard information such as pages viewed, time on page, approximate location derived from your IP address, referring website, device type and browser. Google Analytics 4 does not store full IP addresses. This data is aggregated and is used only to decide what to write next.
The site is hosted on shared hosting, and the hosting provider keeps standard server logs, including IP addresses and requested URLs, for security and operational purposes.
What is not collected
- There are no contact forms, newsletter signups, or account logins on this site.
- No advertising or retargeting pixels run on this site. No Meta, LinkedIn or advertising network tracking is installed.
- No personal data is bought in, appended, or enriched from third-party sources.
If you message on WhatsApp
Messaging the WhatsApp number on this site sends your message, and your phone number and WhatsApp profile name, to Joseph Coello. WhatsApp is operated by Meta, and Meta's own terms and privacy policy apply to messages in transit. Anything you send about your business is treated as confidential and is used only to answer you. It is not shared with buyers, other advisors, or anyone else without your explicit instruction, and it is not added to any marketing list.
If you send an email
Email you send is stored in the mailbox it was sent to and used only to reply to you and to continue any conversation you have started.
Nothing is sold or shared
No personal data collected through this site or through a conversation started from it is ever sold, rented, or passed to a third party for their own use. The only third parties involved are the service providers who make the site work: Google, for analytics, and the hosting provider, for serving pages.
Cookies, and how to turn them off
The only cookies this site sets are the Google Analytics cookies described above. You can block or delete them in your browser settings, use private browsing, or install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. None of that affects how the site works. This site does not set advertising cookies, so there is nothing else to opt out of.
How long anything is kept
Analytics data is retained on Google's standard retention setting and is aggregated. Messages and correspondence are kept for as long as needed for the conversation and for ordinary business records, and are deleted on request unless a record has to be retained for legal or regulatory reasons.
Your choices
You can ask what is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted, and you can ask to never be contacted again. Send that request to the address below and it will be actioned.
Children
This site is aimed at business owners and is not directed at anyone under 18.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it. There is no mailing list, so the current version here is always the operative one.
